This captures one of the day events organized by the volunteers and supporters of Sydney’s Disabled Surfers Association Australia. The volunteers unselfishly set aside time to assist those who do not have the access or choice to go to the beach, let alone the chance to experience riding on a surfboard.

For people with special needs the day is a heart-warming event, animated by the volunteers’ sensitivity and unconditional support.

They strive to create a sense of dignity and hope among their charges, whose self-esteem is greatly enhanced, evidenced by the beaming smiles on their faces and the sparkle in their eyes.
